Chalalan Eco Lodge - Maddi National Park, Bolivia

On a recent trip to Bolivia I decided to take a short side trip from the dry, high altitude of the Altiplano to see a completely different side of the Bolivian landscape. I had been hearing about this wonderful Eco Lodge in the Bolivian Amazon for sometime and I thought it would be a great opportunity to check it out. Portraits of the Altiplano - Altiplano, Bolivia

The "Portraits of the Altiplano" project has brought me to Bolivia several times over the last few years. The first trip to Bolivia was a result of a photo shoot for TERRA Resource Development International, a small relief organization that helps develop impoverished communities in the more remote areas of Bolivia. Working with TERRA offered me access to people and locations that I would never had been able to find on my own. View text and photos
